About Us
For years I have always wanted to become a dancer and I have always had the passion to dance and work with young girls, I didn't always know what I wanted to do or how I would come to actually working with these beautiful young women but I knew the women I wanted them to become as the Lord had moulded me into this very same women and with the approval of my father who had the master plan and already knew what I needed to be doing, with his blessings I began a dance group called Godfidance, a group aimed at building confidence and trust in God through dance. Taking girls from totally different backgrounds and moulding them into young women that would do,be more and become more in the ministry of dance.
Everyone has a dream . Our dream is to train dancers that are able to minister through dance, to develop a love and passion for dance and God through the ministry of dance . We all have a dream and Godfidance is a social journal of our journeys and developments as dancers of the King . All the pain, life sacrifices and how dancing has helped us draw closer to God and forfill our dreams.
For years dancing was my key, It opened up my heart and if i couldn't dance, I knew Iwould not last. Without dance I was nothing,Iwas not me, I was lost.
Godfidance is about creating and empowering dancers that are powerful and free that are always trying their best, gaining confidence from God through the beauty of dance.
Our feet might hurt, and teachers might expect a lot but that won't put us off. There are days when it seems as though our dreams have been shattered and broken like glass and we won't knOw what to do. Our ankles might hurt,and we'll cry all day long, not standing the fact
that our dreams are long gone.
Hours will turn to days and days will turn to weeks. When we finally realise that it's too early to give in.
Life is a dance which leads each one of us to the ultimate truth,that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Here we will be traveling towards our destiny, not walking but dancing. Without music, without obligation to any defined rhythm, we are inching towards it, towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God. Throughout our dancing you will be watching everything. Daylight creeping away streets , colourless dreams, bleeding feet . Sometimes you will be thinking . What is this dance we do?

Sometimes we'll been on the floor or just taking one step forward and two steps back and doing movements that will confuse your heart .Often you'll think we’re dancing alone, dancing in the dark and waiting for a spark , but we are not . We'll be dancing for and with the King. Our bodies swaying rhythmically and sharing our emotions through images, posts ,quotes and videos of things like our dancing shoes placed on a shelf next to our dreams and our bibles placed in our hearts leading the way. Pieces of ourselfs inspired by the desire to continue dancing for the Kingdom of God.
Passion will lead as we follow . Restoring spirits that soar across an uneven floor.
